I thought I would share this experience with you. I have sold home from as low as maybe $10,000.00 and as high as $400,000.00+. I have had many wonderful experiences but I think it will be a very long time until I can top this one.
It all started with a phone call to the office about a particular property and I scheduled a few showings after determining what the client had in mind. Pretty standard procedure right.
After a few times of showing and talking I was beginning to see some actions that were not easy to overlook. The individual had stated that agents were not wanting to work with and one reason I believe was the price range and difficult type of purchase (either short sale or repo.) neither if which are easy. The client would become would become frustrated and discouraged and together we would work our way through the setbacks that came our way.
To make a long story short (and a very long process) We closed a few weeks ago and I can honestly say handing over ownership of this home to my client has been the most rewarding experience of my career as a REALTOR.
I received a wonderful thank you note that I will cherish.
There used to be a commercial for a carpet dealer who said I do not want to make money I just want to sell carpet. Well I do this for a living but the real reward comes from helping others accomplish their dream whether it be big or small
